The event began with a 1-minute silence in memory of the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, followed by opening speeches by the Chairman of AJU News Group, Chairman of KOVECA, Chairman of Bichaena Organization.
In his speech, AJU News Group Chairman Kwak Young-gil said that the book written about the late General Secretary is a book with great spread.
Kwak said, "I know that Cho Chul-hyeon is a person with very good writing skills, but after reading the biography of the late General Secretary compiled by Cho, I realized that his writing skills are really excellent. It can be said that the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong was a true national hero, an honest, humble leader and loved by the Vietnamese people. With the increasingly close relationship between Korea and Vietnam, the number of international students traveling between the two countries is also constantly increasing, this book is indeed an extremely worthwhile publication and a valuable reference. I believe this book will sell very well in the future."

At the conversation, former Minister of Health and Welfare of the Republic of Korea Cha Heung-bong also praised the book "General Secretary of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong".

I was extremely surprised that he was able to arrange and compile the book in such a logical way. Through the book, I can see the journey from the late General Secretary in high school, to studying abroad in the Soviet Union and his fierce fight against corruption. I think the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong was a person who played a great role in modern Vietnamese society when he led the country until before his death."
"The contents included by the author Cho Chul-hyeon in the book are all very good and meaningful events and issues. I am sure that this book will be of great help to researchers who want to learn and study the modern history of Vietnam," the former Minister Cha emphasized.
