"Hopefully, the annual council of Germany in particular and of Europe in general will develop more sustainably, maintaining close international relations as well as members' warm feelings. Although the pandemic is still present, we try to keep the playground green and clean so that we can organize rotations in European countries every year. I'd like to thank all of my European young business colleagues" said Mr. William Tran, Head of the Organizing Committee and Representative in Germany.

Many young people have banded together to contribute their time and money to this reunion in order to foster connections and solidarity among European young entrepreneurs, including representatives of the Organizing Committee in the Czech Republic such as Mr. Pham Dinh Hien, Mr. Su Pham, and Mr. Vu Van Cuong. Young entrepreneurs all expressed joy and happiness as they saw Vietnam grow. "Our membership has reached nearly 300 people. We, the distant descendants, simply want to do what is best for our brotherhood or sisterhood in the reunion. Our thoughts are always drawn back to motherland, where we long for peace. May our grandparents, ancestors, and families remain healthy, and may our leaders remain healthy and wise as they lead our country forward " said Mr. Bui Thanh Tung on behalf of the organizers.

In an interview with WAJ, Professor Pierre Asselin – Professor of History and Dwight E. Stanford Chair in U.S. Foreign Relations at San Diego State University – explains why peace never materialized then, and what lessons still resonate today.
