The CDU is the current ruling party in Thale and Saxony-Anhalt. MP Nguyen Dac Nghiep personally abstained from voting for himself at the most recent CDU Party Congress, while the remaining 100% of party members present voted for him, which is an honor but also a responsibility and a new challenge for him.

MP Nguyen Dac Nghiep has been elected Vice Chairman of the CDU
Previously, in order to compete with other parties, the CDU Party nominated Nguyen Dac Nghiep to run for City Council. He gained the trust of the people of the city, was elected with a large number of votes, and served as a Member of the city CDU Party for ten years in a row.
MP Nguyen Dac Nghiep joined the CDU and began his political career in 2005. For the past 16 years, he has been continuously elected as a Member of the CDU Party Committee in Thale, gaining extensive experience and making numerous positive contributions to the CDU Party's activities. Such recognition as an immigrant by indigenous people is extremely rare.
MP Nguyen Dac Nghiep is currently serving on the Finance Committee, as well as the Committees on Construction, Security, Economic Support, and Transportation. He was also nominated to serve on the Board of Managers of FAB Company in Thale. He is also known to be the General Director of SAPA Thale GmbH in Germany. MP Nguyen Dac Nghiep, who was born in Vinh Phuc province, spent a long time working at the Hanoi Conservatory of Music. He has spent the last 35 years living and working in Germany. He is currently the Chairman of the Vietnamese Association in Thale city and surrounding areas, as well as the General Secretary of the Vinh Phuc Country Council in Germany, even though he is a German politician. He was also recently elected as the Head of the Hung Kings Commemoration Day 2023 Organizing Committee in Germany and Europe.
Being re-elected for many consecutive terms, and holding the position of Vice Chairman in CDU Party, is a testament to his capacity, work efficiency, and credibility, which is thought to contribute to changing the way of perception and sympathy of the German, as well as to the successful integration in economic, social, artistic, and political aspects of the Vietnamese community in Germany.
