Abunayyan explained, during the second day of the 9th OPEC Seminar, that energy is closely linked to artificial intelligence.
"We must be realistic," he explained, explaining that Saudi Arabia is building 20 megawatts each year to capture carbon.
He pointed out that Saudi Arabia is managing the energy system with high efficiency and appropriate solutions, and is interested in developing energy resources, especially hydrogen projects.

Abunayyan said that everyone is focused on sustainability and security of supply, a point emphasized by Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman yesterday.
He explained that there is a need to increase investments, especially in light of the changes taking place in Europe and the world, noting that he was in the United States and reviewed databases on energy generation, most of which are conventional energy.

He stated that Saudi Arabia is leading the development of all hydrogen projects in all its forms. He predicted that artificial intelligence would be the largest consumer of energy in 2030, saying, "Saudi Arabia talks little and does a lot."
