
He added - in a press conference with his Austrian counterpart Karl Nehammer during an official visit to Vienna - that the global economy is passing through a crisis and we must work together to find effective solutions, pointing out that the nuclear threats from North Korea are serious and the international community must find a solution to it.

He explained that the Chinese role is influential in the international community, and that resolving the crisis with Taiwan requires dialogue and effective European intervention, noting that sustainable development is the focus of the government's plans, especially combating climate change and reducing emissions.

He pointed out that his European tour aims to expand cooperation with the European Union countries.
It is noteworthy that Austria enjoys a "strategic partnership" with South Korea, which is its third largest trading partner in the region after China and Japan, since 2021.

For his part, Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehmer affirmed that the Austrian-Korean relations are strong and well-established for more than 130 years, noting that South Korea is an important partner for Austria in trade, technology and innovation.
Nehmer said that he discussed with his Korean counterpart the repercussions of the war in Ukraine and the North Korean crisis.

Nehmer added that a new partnership is growing between Europe and South Korea in the field of energy and the production of electric batteries and green hydrogen.
