On July 12, the Vietnam Institute for Research and Development of Medicine and Pharmacy, the Institute of Legal Policy and Management, and the Vietnam Integration Journal coordinated and organized a scientific conference: Research and development of Vietnamese agarwood.  The opinions of experts and researchers show that Vietnamese agarwood has a development advantage. Although that potential has not been properly exploited and promoted, even natural agarwood is increasingly disappearing. The conservation and development of agarwood is an urgent problem. Faced with this situation, many enterprises have embarked on experimenting and researching the application of biotechnology in planting agarwood and expanding the area planted with agarwood trees. TTT Biological Agarwood Joint Stock Company is one of the first units to apply this technology.

Mr. Le Van Giang, director of TTT Biological Agarwood Joint Stock Company shared, "The application of technology to create bio-agarwood using natural probiotics along with precious herbs to stimulate and create agarwood based on natural ingredients. The process of applying this bio-agarwood technology shortens the regeneration time and obtains a large volume of crystalline agarwood."

Belief in the development of agarwood is one of the most important factors for businesses according to Mr. Tran Vinh Ha, Chairman of the Board of Directors of An Phu Auction Corporation. In addition to the problem of agarwood development, the problem of policies, investment capital and especially the building of a 7-house linkage chain are key elements of the content discussed in the workshop.

Nguyen Tuan Binh, director of the Vietnam Institute for Research and Development of Medicine and Pharmacy, said that "the chain of 7 houses includes: the state creates mechanisms and policies, entrepreneurs create ideas and conduct investment, farmers are the product creation, research scientists, physicians evaluate products related to human health, branding and product packaging, and finally product communication and distribution"

Agarwood is being used more in life, so this is also a condition that promotes investors and this new manufacturing industry.
